Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about ordering a custom logo mat—from artwork and sizing to shipping and care. Can't find your answer? Call us and talk to a real person.

Getting Your Order Started

How do I order a custom logo mat?
Choose a mat type and size on our site, upload your logo or artwork, and complete checkout. A mat specialist will then prepare a free digital proof for your review—production begins only after you approve it. Prefer to talk it through first? Call or email us and a specialist will help you choose the right mat and size before you order.
Do I get to approve the artwork before my mat is produced?
Yes. Every custom logo mat order includes a free digital proof prepared and reviewed by a real mat specialist. You approve the colors, sizing, and layout before anything is manufactured. There are no artwork setup fees.
What artwork file formats work best?
Vector files (AI, EPS, or vector PDF) reproduce best on custom mats because they scale cleanly to any size. High-resolution PNG or JPG files also work in many cases. If your logo needs cleanup or recreation, a mat specialist will review it and let you know before production—you'll always see a proof before anything is made.
What if I don't have a high-quality version of my logo?
Send us what you have. Our team reviews every piece of artwork before production and will tell you honestly whether it will reproduce well at mat scale. If your file needs work, we'll discuss options with you before anything is produced—and you'll approve a proof either way.
Can I order multiple mats with different logos or locations?
Yes. We work with single-location businesses and multi-site national accounts, including orders where each location needs its own artwork, address, or store number. Contact a mat specialist to coordinate a multi-location order.

Choosing the Right Mat Type

What mat types do you offer?
We offer Waterhog inlay logo mats (best for wet outdoor entrances), Berber carpeted logo mats (ideal for indoor lobbies and Class A buildings), vinyl loop mats (for all-weather indoor/outdoor use), rubber scraper mats (for high-debris environments), and anti-fatigue logo mats (for employees who stand for extended periods). Custom sizes are available across most product lines.
Which mat is best for outdoor entrances?
Waterhog inlay logo mats are the strongest choice for wet or high-traffic outdoor entrances. They use UV-stable polypropylene that resists fading, scrapes debris from shoes, and traps water. Rubber scraper mats are another good option for high-debris environments like construction offices or agricultural businesses.
What's the difference between a Berber mat and a Waterhog mat?
Berber carpeted logo mats have a refined carpet-style surface suited to indoor lobbies and professional office environments. Waterhog inlay mats use rugged UV-stable polypropylene engineered for wet, heavy outdoor traffic. Many businesses pair them: a Waterhog mat outside the door to scrape and trap, and a Berber mat inside to finish the job and showcase the brand.
What is an anti-fatigue logo mat?
Anti-fatigue logo mats combine branded graphics with cushioned support designed for employees who stand for extended periods—reception desks, checkout counters, workstations, and service counters. They reduce strain while keeping your brand visible.
How long does a custom logo mat last?
Lifespan depends on mat type and foot traffic. A commercial-grade Berber logo mat in a standard office environment typically lasts 3–5 years. Waterhog inlay mats are engineered for heavy outdoor traffic and can last 5+ years with proper maintenance. We can recommend the right mat type for your traffic volume and environment.

Finding the Right Fit

What size mat do I need for my entrance?
For a single standard commercial door (36″ wide), a 3′ x 4′ or 3′ x 5′ mat is typical. Double-door entrances usually require a 4′ x 6′ or larger. The general guideline: a person walking through should be able to take 2–3 full steps on the mat. We offer free sizing consultations—just tell us your entrance dimensions and we'll recommend the right size.
Do you offer custom sizes?
Yes. Standard sizes don't always fit real entrances, so we produce custom dimensions for single-door, double-door, vestibule, and oversized applications—including mats up to 30′ x 30′.
Should my logo cover the whole mat?
Not necessarily. The most effective mat designs leave breathing room around the logo so it reads clearly from a distance. When you order, our mat specialists position and scale your artwork for the best visual impact—and you'll approve the layout on your free proof before production.

From Approval to Your Door

How long does it take to receive a custom mat?
Most custom logo mat orders are produced and shipped within 2–3 weeks of artwork approval. Turnaround varies by mat type and order volume. If you have a deadline, contact us before ordering and we'll let you know if rush options are available.
Is shipping free?
Yes. Free ground shipping is included on all custom logo mat orders to the contiguous United States. No minimums, no membership required.
Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally?
Contact us before placing your order and we'll confirm shipping options and costs for your location. Free ground shipping applies to the contiguous United States.
What if I need my mat by a specific date?
Tell us your deadline before you order. We'll let you know whether standard production will meet it and whether rush options are available for your mat type. Grand openings, events, and seasonal deadlines are common—the earlier you reach out, the more options we have.

Making Your Mat Last

How do I clean my custom logo mat?
Regular vacuuming removes most dry soil from carpeted and Waterhog mats. Waterhog and rubber mats can be hosed off and air-dried. Avoid harsh chemicals, which can degrade backing and fibers. Care recommendations vary by mat type—ask a mat specialist for guidance on your specific product.
How should I care for my mat in winter?
Salt, sand, and ice melt are the biggest seasonal threats to mat life. Vacuum or shake out buildup frequently during winter months, and rinse Waterhog and rubber mats periodically to prevent salt residue from breaking down fibers. Letting mats dry fully before heavy use also extends their life.
Will my logo fade over time?
Commercial-grade materials are chosen specifically to resist fading. Waterhog inlay mats use UV-stable polypropylene built for outdoor sun exposure. Proper placement and routine cleaning are the best ways to keep colors looking sharp for the life of the mat.
